Committees
STANDING COMMITTEES
There shall be two (2)-standing committees in CTMC.
a. The Fundraising Committee shall create ways for CTMC to raise additional
revenue to supplement member dues. Any member can volunteer to be on the
committee. The President of CTMC shall appoint the Director of Fundraising
who will lead the committee. The Director of Fundraising shall report directly
to the Vice President. At each business meeting the Director of Fundraising
shall present typed copies of a report of completed fundraising events including
actual budget, expenses and revenues, future fundraising events and detailed
budget requests.
The Director of fundraising shall prepare and present a yearly budget to
the President by the second Sunday of February for review. The Director
of Fundraising shall maintain a file of all club information pertaining
to the Fundraising Committee that is subject to audit by the Executive Committee.
A copy of the contents of the file shall be made for the Principal Office
File and submitted to the Executive Committee in a timely fashion. Upon
the selection of a new Director of Fundraising, the file shall be turned
over to the new Director with a transition report.
b. The Community Service Committee shall search out, plan and coordinate
community service activities that help fulfil the general purpose of CTMC.
Any member can volunteer to be on the committee. The President of CTMC shall
appoint the Director of Community Service who will lead the committee. The
Director of Community Service shall report directly to the Vice President.
At each business meeting the Director of Community Service shall present
typed copies of a report of future and completed community service activities
including expenses and/or future fundraising activities to benefit the CTMC
Service Savings Account at a rate of 100% of the net profit and detailed
budget requests. The Director of Community Service shall prepare and present
a yearly budget to the President by the second Saturday of February for
review. The Director of Community Service shall maintain a file of all club
information pertaining to the Community Service Committee that is subject
to audit by the Executive Committee. A copy of the contents of the file
shall be made for the Principal Office File and submitted to the Executive
Committee in a timely fashion. Upon the selection of a new Director of Community
Service, the file shall be turned over to the new Director with a transition
report.
AD HOC COMMITTEES
The President shall appoint Director of Car Shows & Races, Director
of Parties & Picnics, Director of Cruises and a Web-master with concurrence
of the Club Officers in a vote of a simple majority (5-3).
SPECIAL COMMITTEES
The Executive Committee can create temporary Special Committees as needed
and the President shall appoint a member to chair the committee.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
A Board of Director comprised of 3 to 5 non-CTMC members who have special
interests in CTMC can be assembled for guidance if so needed. A majority
vote by the Club Officers shall begin the process of forming a Board of
Directors.
